People here recycle…only in a slightly different way than in the US. Instead of putting the recyclables in a green bin and sitting it out for a truck to pick up, people just throw things away. Yep, that’s right…no sorting trash for us! HA HA. People then come around and dig out any cardboard that is “worthy” and do something with it. I’m not sure what happens to it, but while I was out walking, I found this place where TONS of cardboard was stacked up outside (no, I don’t know what happens when it rains). Don’t know what happens to it after this, but here is where it goes…at least temporarily.
