Wishlist Reviewed

Grace's Christmas List, part2

Our wishlist hadn’t been reviewed since…well, since I put it up.  I decided I’d revisit it with the website changes.  I removed a ton of stuff and updated more.

By the way, this isn’t posted because I’m trying to get people to send us stuff.  I wanted a notice on the wishlist that I had looked at it as of such and such date.  But, I can’t make it show up there and not here.  BOO….

Sloppy Joe Mix

sloppy_joe_sauce_internalSloppy Joe mix.   I like the kind in a can; however, tomato sauce is easy to come by here so the powdered kind that takes up less space is just as good.

[Update 2012-12-26 10:17:29] I’ve come to really like the McCormic brand that I link to on Amazon.

Vienna Sausages

vienna_sausage_internalLydia loves Vienna Sausages.  Plain.

[Update 2012-12-26 10:19:12] I doubt you’ll get these into the UK.  And Lydia doesn’t like them as much now…but I still do.

Thanksgiving Stuff

This list may be expanded in the future, so check often:

Pumpkin (the canned kind)
French Fried Onions.
evaporated milk

[Updated 10-21-2008 18:23:36] Removed the following items:

Cranberry Sauce.  No, not the expensive stuff…the cheap stuff.  In a can.  That comes out looking like the can.
Pecans

Pumpkin Pie Spice (made of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves).  We know we can get cinnamon.  We have nutmeg.  We don’t know about the others.

Added:

allspice and cloves

evaporated milk

Books

In Serbia, we couldn’t get many English language books.  Now that we are in the UK, interestingly enough, we can.  However, we won’t turn down books if you want to send us any.  Since we prefer ebooks, you can now gift kindle books.

Before you send books, why not check out some free ebook sites just to make sure we can’t already get them for free.  The Gutenberg Project is a good place to start.

[Updated 2012-12-26 10:34:23] Our situation has been different since we moved to the UK.  I hadn’t revisited this since we moved.

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

Either the regular old fashioned Reeses Cups or the new Big cups.  I’m not a great fan of the mini-cups.  In order to help us portion control either two per pack or singles of the smaller size or one per pack of the big cups.  Sorry to be so picky, but we need these things to last and if we open a whole package and are presented with 3 or 4 (in a king size) we’ll have to eat them…we don’t have any way to store them once opened.

Wal Mart Thick and Creamy Mac and Cheese

Sorry, I couldn’t find a link for this.  It is the Wal Mart Brand Thick and Creamy mac and cheese.  If you can’t find it, regular wal mart brand stuff (we think both are far superior to Kraft).

But, we have milk.  We have butter.  We have pasta.  All we need are the sauce packets.  Just get the stuff, open the box, and send us the sauce packets.  That’s all we need.
