Al Gore — What a hypocrite!

I was reading WorldNetDaily today when I came across this article on Al Gore.  Yep, that Al Gore.  The Internet Guy.  The global warming guy.  The Frankenstein clapper guy.  I digress…..

 Well, he testified before a Senate Committee yesterday.  One of the Senators (the chair actually) asked Gore if HE was willing to CHANGE his life to save the planet.  Gore's response:  No.  Here is the exact pledge the Senator asked Mr. Internet Creator Gore:

As a believer:

  • that human-caused global warming is a moral, ethical, and spiritual issue affecting our survival;
  • that home energy use is a key component of overall energy use;
  • that reducing my fossil fuel-based home energy usage will lead to lower greenhouse gas emissions; and
  • that leaders on moral issues should lead by example;

I pledge to consume no more energy for use in my residence than the average American household by March 21, 2008.

Why did he write the pledge the way he did?  Well, it turns out that Al Gore's home in Nashville consumes more electricity in one month than the average house in America does in an entire year.

I think I'll think about considering believing in global warming when those who preach it start to change their life.
