Remember the song about the guy who mined 16 tons of coal and just got deeper and deeper in debt? He maybe should have read this scripture. God really does have something to say about our work habits and how we spend our time. Continue reading “Consider Your Ways – Haggai 1:1-11”
24 June 2006 Bike Ride Info
I thought I would post an image of my bike ride Saturday. It was the longest ride of the season so far, but very good. All it did was get me in the mood to ride some more.
For stats of the ride, refer to my June 2006 Bike Stats page. If you want to see a larger image of the ride, click the small thumbnail image below.
[Update 2013-01-06 09:43:48] removed link to bike ride stats and added image to flickr
Heres a story…
Posting this link so I can find it later
I need to follow-up on this (especially for next year).

Cyndi is pregnant
Well, since we have told our parents, I thought I would let everyone else know that Cyndi is pregnant. We found out about a month ago…sorry for the delay, but we wanted to let our parents know first. We told them by sending our dads Grandpa cards on Father's Day (we thought it would be unique).
Cyndi has her 1st dr. appt. next Wednesday (28 June). At that time, we should have more specific info on when she is due, etc….
Cyndi has also told me that she is going to start blogging about her pregnancy, so check back often.
Diesels are gaining
On the fence about buying a diesel? This article about a diesel winning at LaMans may help.
Baptism and Church Membership
I was reading some online articles today when I came across this article on Baptism and Church Membership. Go read your Bible and this post and let me know what you think. If you want to find out what I think, read more of this post…. Continue reading “Baptism and Church Membership”
This is interesting…. “Mother” Jesus?
While there are points of disagreement within the Southern Baptist Convention, I'm glad we are all, for the most part, on the same page. Next year in San Antonio, we won't have to worry about electing a woman to be president, whether or not churches will ordain womoen, or whether homosexuality is "normal" or not.
Al Mohler has a good wrap-up of the ECUSA sutuation.
Remember though, "But for the grace of God, there Go I." It is only by God's grace the SBC was turned back from liberalism. It is only by His grace that we aren't having these types of conversations at Convention.
Questions about the Flood
I came across this post today while reading various blogs. Instead of answering on Blogger, I decided to answer on my blog. If you want to read the whole response, read more….
