We are Marshall

Just saw a preview for the new We are…Marshall movie.  I'll probably wait to see it on video.  Even though I went to Marshall, I think Huntington (and the school) need to get over the plane crash.

By the way…that cheer (We are…Marshall) didn't start until I was at Marshall in the late 90s.

OSU Score

6:11 left in 2nd quarter.

OSU just scored another td and 1 extra point.

MICH 7
OSU 21

You should hear all the crazies in the "shoe" go wild.  (Why would you want to go somewhere that stinks?  I'd come up with a new nickname for my stadium if I were the people in Ohio.)

OSU Run

Time:  634 left in 2nd quarter

OSU was at their own 10 yd line.  MICH almost was able to score a saftey.  The qb threw the ball, it was caught, MICH missed a tackle.  What a good play.  ARG…MICH isn't playing so hot.  But, they are still going to win.

MICH/OSU Update

Well, the MICH quarterback just ran the wrong way and lost a ton of yards.  Then, at the end of the next play, 2 players were ready to go at it.  I say…go for it.  Whose going to get hurt?  Everyone is wearing pads and helmets.  Think hockey on grass.

Wait…10:14 to go.  15 yd penalty on OSU for roughing the center.

Apple Pie

I just thought I would post how I make my apple pie (I've made 2 in the past week):

2 premade pie crusts
4 cans apples  (not apple pie filling….apples.  If you can't find normal apples, I have success buying cans of fried apples)
2 tbsp – 1/4 cup white sugar
2 tbsp – 1/4 cup white flour
1 tsp – 1 tbsp cinnamon

Mix flour, sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl
Take the 1st pie crust and put it into a pie pan.
Poke holes in the bottom with a fork.
Sprinkle on some of the sugar, flour, and cinnamon mix.
Drain 1 can apples.
Put into pie crust
sprinke on some more sugar, flour, cinnamon mix
Drain 1 can apples.
Put into pie crust

If you have some of the sugar mix left over, it isn't a big deal.
Cut a design in the other pie crust.  You just need some holes to let the steam escape.
Put onto the pie
Cut off the extra crust
pinch the edges together with a fork
Bake in a 350-375 degree oven for 45 min (or until done).

If you want to do something with the left over crust, here is something good:

Roll it out
Spread on butter
Sprinkle with brown sugar
Roll up like a roll-up
Bake with the pie
