Here’s another wordle that I did just today. I’ll try to do this from our RSS or ATOM feed every few months or so. It would be interesting to see how things change over time.
Happy Birthday
We have some college friends here visiting until Thanksgiving. One of the guys had a birthday the day before I did. We went out to dinner…this is a video of us singing happy birthday to him. (By the way, this is the first video I’ve ever uploaded to flickr).
Lydia, Me, and Coffee
Over this past week, we have all been sick (and are still getting better). Cyndi needed a break and Lydia and I wanted to get out of the house for a bit. So, we went for coffee. Lydia did great and I took a few pictures of her. Here they are for all of the grandparents.

More on Coffee
I like coffee. Cyndi not so much. But people here love coffee. We stopped by a coffee shop on our way home from language class one day. I got my normal (Turkish Coffee and Kisla Water)…cyndi got some frufru coffee (A Carmel Moca or something like that). Mine came in a normal glass…but hers came in a drinking class. With a straw! And this is hot coffee mind you. Oh well…what can you say….we aren’t in Kansas anymore toto!

Кафа ѕа понети is how you say Coffee to Go in Serbian. It actually means Coffee for Taking, but we won’t get into symantics about how that doesn’t make any sense. By the way, if you want to learn a foreign language, get used to it….It is way hard. Not only do you have to learn what the words mean…but you have to learn what they sayings and phrases mean. Anway, I digress.
At the start of the week (or end of last week) we got some coffee to go and took to language class. This is a picture of Cyndi wth her Caramel Moca. She said it was good. I got turkish coffee, but it was just ok. Don’t ever get that stuff to go. It doesn’t work well.

I’ll let you know if my ballot comes with this option on it. All I can say is I wish I had as much money as he did in the movie…I’d get my 300,000,000 no SWEAT! I’d get None of the above on the ballot 🙂
Seriously, everyone needs to think about what the right thing to do is. BUT, I don’t like either of the two major party candidates.

Learn with Noddy — Airplane
I mentioned in our podcast that Lydia had started liking Noddy. We bought it thinking it might help us with our Serbian because the characters speak slowly and about simple subjects and with simple words (it’s for kids…which is good). Here is an example for you to see:

This stuff is dumb
We get lots of odd channels over here. One of them that I come across is Fashion TV. They broadcast things like interviews with designers, runway shows, etc…. I never watch it and only see it when I flip by….but….most of the outfits I have seen on the channel are downright goofy. I don’t know why anyone would come up with them…let alone buy them to wear them.
