I think if I ran an airline, I would standards on the b757 and b767 platform. then, the flight crew could have one type rating and one set of training while the airline would get a good all-round service from smaller airports to long-haul service too. I will never understand why most airlines seem to have about 10 of every make and model aeroplane in their fleet. it doesn't make any sense to me.
