Lack of Updates

I’m sorry for the lack of updates the past week.  Cyndi and I had to go back to WV for a funeral.

Why don’t people move over?

Why don't people move over?  When I'm getting in my car parked by the side of the road, why don't people move over into the other lane when they are the only person on the road to be seen (yes, it is a 4-lane road)?  Why don't people move over when I'm riding my bike (again, 4-lane road)?

ARG!  PEOPLE!

Finally

Well, I finally have everything moved over from my old blog.  It feels like it took forever.  Now, the only thing remaining is to get all of the pictures from the maxsons.org site over into our new gallery.

ARG

Last night, I decided I would take some cups and try to make cold-brewed coffee.  Everything went well…I took 2 plastic cups, piked tons of holes in the bottom, ground some coffee, got everything set up, put it in the fridge, and went to sleep.  This morning, I woke up and started draining the coffee.  Everything was going well until I bumped the cups while packing my lunch.  Coffee (both wet soppy grounds and liquid coffee) went everywhere.

I was running behind anyway, but now I had to take extra time to clean my mess up.  ARG!

I’m trying to figure out…

…why Sam's Club has such a big deal about putting a "different" size tire on your vehicle.  Last time we had to get tires, we went to Sam's and purchased 225/75/R15s.  No sweat.  We went back again, picked tires out that were the same size.  This time the guy looked at his computer and said they were the wrong size.  ARG!

Why would it be ok one time but not another?  What's the big deal?  I think they are just trying to prevent lawsuits, but why would I sue them anyway?  I mean…come on…I made the choice on the size tires, not them.

ARG!

I’ve been blogging how long?

Last year, I moved my blog from www.techs4esus.com to maxsons.org.  At that time, my plan was to keep techs4jesus hosted with halfprice hosting.  Well, due to some changes they made, I decided to move techs4jesus to 1&1 too.  When I did that, my blog quit working.  I wasn't actively maintaining it, so it wasn't any bug deal.  However, with the redesign of maxsons.org, I decided I would import all that old content.  Well, I came across the first blog post I ever made.  Here is a link to it in its new location.

I can't believe I have been blogging since 27 February 2005.  Over two years!
